CJ Tañedo
Born May 9, 1979, Makati City, Philippines
Bachelors of Fine Arts Major in Painting, University of Santo Tomas
Tañedo's works are inspired from the artist's readings of Scripture and makes commentary on the proliferation of wrong doctrine and bad faith.
The Manila-based artist has won numerous awards including the 2000 Merit Award for Outstanding Artistic Expression at the NOKIA Art Awards Seoul, Korea and the Juror's Choice , NOKIA Art Awards Philippines. He was also a top awardee at the Shell Art Competition, and a consistent finalist of the prestigious Philip Morris Art Awards.
