The word JOURNEY as the title for this exhibit, is being used as a metaphor for life. It pertains not simply to physical travel or physical displacement, but as an individual’s passage through time. The paintings are insights on how man chooses the path to tread in life which is of course in some instances not always a choice. Each path differs from one person to another but everyone is on a journey nonetheless. Thus the images, the viewer will encounter in the paintings are almost all in a state of transit.

The internationally renowned and multi-awarded artist has exhibited in various galleries and museums in Asia. He has have been accorded the Cultural Center of the Philippines 13 Artists Award, the highest acclaim and most prestigious award given to established young Filipino painters.

This is no ordinary art exhibit. It's an exhibition of artworks that will reach out, educate, and inform guests and art collectors within the region the meaning and inherent value of Philippine art. By doing so, it aims to reach out and promote cultural and educational interaction and understanding within a diverse community.

The exhibits Guests of Honor are Philippine Ambassador Belen Anota, Claire Chang of Banyan Tree Resorts and Patrick Fiat, General Manager of Royal Plaza on Scotts Hotel.

The event is being supported by Royal Plaza on Scotts Hotel, Tiger Airways, PLDT Global, Friends of the Museum, The American Women’s Association, Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Filipino Ladies Group.
